Responsibilities
Led monthly live updates and bug fixes.
Created Daily Change Logs for the QA team and developed MVP, Insiders, Influencers and Live Change Logs.
Maintained and managed daily stand ups and one on ones to keep track of task progression.
Managed submission reviews and completed functionality reviews for design and art submissions to the project.
Created roadmaps and major new feature charts to inform the team and marketing on the projects progression.
Held meetings with stakeholders while taking their feedback and implementing back into the schedule/game.
Managed weekly bug reports and logging them into the backlog to be addressed in future sprints.
Reviewed Dev Journals and fact checked marketing materials before they went live.
Actively tracked the team's Story Points for each sprint making sure that we stayed on target for our projects updates.
This was my first AA project coming out of college. I was put onto the project mid way through the Megastructures DLC development and learned how important meeting marketing deadlines is. I was mentored for my first 2 months and I got to see how interconnected Marketing and Production could be.
The flow of a project's progression may look different based on the teams composition. Even with many talented minds I got to learn knowing your teams strengths and weaknesses is extremely important to maintain the projects health.
People in the community may not like the DLC or the updates that you put out. I have come to learn that this is not a reflection of the hard work that gets put into the project.
