I was given the opportunity to become a conference associate again! This year I had goals of becoming a mentor, reaching out to new Associates and sharing my new industry knowledge. As always I had an amazing time volunteering for GDC and the Games community. I was also given the opportunity to talk about my time as a CA for IndieCade Horizons in the talk for Student Strategies for Game Conferences.
I was given the opportunity to ship my first DLC as the only Producer on the project. I took what I had learned from my previous DLC and applied it into putting out a new iteration of Galactic Civilizations. Tales of the Arnor brings players new lore, a new Civilization and an entire new tech tree custom made for the new Civilization. I am extremely excited to share this DLC: HERE
I joined early on in the DLC creation process but I learned what going into making a DLC. This DLC brings over 50 new features that players can add into their war to rule the Galaxy. I was an assistant producer turned main producer on this project to ship out the DLC. I learned so much and you can check out the DLC: HERE
I was selected to talk to MSU's newspaper about my time during my 2023 summer internship where I was a VR Product Producer for a new VR meeting space. Check out the article by Clicking Here or the picture on the left.
Also during my work for the VR meeting space I had assisted in writing the research paper going over my team's development and finished product.
I was selected to be a conference associate for GDC. Here I was able to help the Game Developer Community have a great GDC and met some new friends in all areas of game development. I loved the opportunity of getting to help attendees and learn so much about production from my CA peers and mentors.
I was given the opportunity to show off two games I produced (Luminaqua and How To Date A Dragon) at Youmacon in Detroit. Con attendees play tested both games and I was able to gather feedback to expand and improve the games!
As a student at MSU, I made a ton of fun and exciting games. One of my games, How To Date A Dragon, was selected by my program to be showcased at the MSU Video Game Arcade Cabinet. MSU's Video Game Department selects the most creative and highly praised games to be playable in this fashion. My team feels extremely honored to have our game featured!
