'Luminaqua: Echoes of the Abyss,' a captivating 2D top-down adventure game where you assume the role of a lost and lonely dolphin. Armed with echolocation to pierce the darkness, you'll navigate through an enigmatic environment, surrounded by twisting paths and puzzling obstacles.
Responsibilities
Planning and maintaining weekly team meetings twice a week.
Sprint planning with a burn down chart and Google Suites.
Creating presentations at each internal milestone to go over sprint progress and future sprint expectations.
Communicating any project or team issues.
Playtesting and logging bugs in excel with correlating video recordings.
Designing and creating online content on itch.io for the final product.
Representing and gathering live feedback at conventions.
Learned how to control a situation caused by the lack of ones work which heavily effected the teams overall work flow and communication.
Burnout is real and can hurt the entire team. Project allowed for a week off but burnout needs to be properly addressed and helped throughout the team.
Saving the tutorial development for the final sprint was extremely helpful but should of been improved before being shown off at a convention. Using feedback from the convention was also extremely beneficial for the game and tutorial as well.
